Q11. How do I arrange a land survey?
A11. Usually, a survey of the block is performed at the time of sale and paid for by the vendor. However, it is not uncommon for land to also be sold as is using only the registered details leaving the onus on the purchaser if required at some later date. If a subdivion is proposed, a survey will also be necessary to complete the application for the subdivision process. For more complex developments, a topographical survey is also sometimes deemed necessary.
